Our incredible foster, Marci Reynolds, writes about her journey through fostering and the joy it brings to her life! We learned about dogs fostering when… I first learned about fostering dogs when my husband and I decided to adopt a second Rat Terrier. We did some research online and found Rat Terrier Rescue, and a foster mom who was caring for several dogs we wanted to meet. January 6, 2017 Dear Furkids Friends, Happy 2017 to all of you!  A few weeks ago, some Furkids family members got together to find an innovative way to help our organization increase adoptions and gain additional support.  The product of this team’s creative efforts is the clever, wildly appealing and funny Kitty Kommercial featuring some of our animals, staff and volunteers. Furkids Kitty Kommercial goes viral

It’s pretty awesome when we can make life better for animals and people! Our latest video, Kitty Kommercial, has received some great feedback after making it to the front page of Reddit.  The video was originally posted to Youtube and our Facebook page, and has over 35,000 (and counting) views collectively.  It features Furkids volunteer, Paul Preston, using traditional, yet cheesy salesman tactics to find “furever” homes for the Furkids shelter animals.
