Ohio State Students Have Georgia on Their Mind

While many college students headed to the sunny beaches of Florida for spring break, a dedicated team of students from Ohio State University  spent their five-day break helping some of Atlanta’s homeless cats at Furkids, an animal rescue organization that operates a cage-free cat shelter in Metro Atlanta and cares for over 400 cats at any given time.  Ten OSU students volunteered with Furkids from March 21 through March 26 as part of the OSU Buck-I-Serve program. The March 2011 Buck-I-Serve team is the fourth OSU group to have chosen Furkids as its service opportunity. A group of 10 students also spent their Christmas 2010 break volunteering with Furkids.
