You've applied - Now what? does not adopt dogs on a first come, first served basis. We choose the most appropriate home for each individual dog from all of the applicants. If you have provided all of the necessary information, you may expect to hear from us by e-mail within a week in most instances. If you have not given us your veterinarian’s name and telephone number, or other information critical to our review of your application, it will delay the process. Please make sure your application is complete. Be sure to tell us which dog you are interested in adopting.
If you don’t have e-mail: Unfortunately, we do not have telephone volunteers at this time. If you are unable to provide us with an e-mail address, then you will only hear from us if you are approved to adopt the dog you want. If you do not hear from us in two weeks, you may assume that someone else was approved for the dog. PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE A PHONE NUMBER ON YOUR APPLICATION! |
