Wishlist for the Animals
On any given day, there are about 80 dogs in the SDR program and about 500 cats. Here are their latest list of needs. Contact us to arrange for drop-off at the main shelter or one of our adoption centers.
- Denta-Chews or Greenies (no grocery store or drug store brands please)
- Interactive toys for dogs at shelter: Kong products, Nylabone products, or JW Hol-ee Roller
- Quality dog treats (brands sold in pet supplies stores are best)
- Long Stem Q-tips
- Disposible gloves
- Bleach or bleach based cleaning products
- Unexpired Heartworm preventatives
- Unexpired flea/tick preventatives (no grocery/dollar store brands)
- Glucosamine supplements
- Gift Cards to Petsmart/Petco/Costco/Sam’s Club
- Stained or used towels in good shape
- Small washable dog beds new or used
- PLEASE NO RAWHIDES, PLUSH TOYS, OR TENNIS BALLS
Wishlist for the Humans
Without a support staff and volunteers keeping SDR efficient day in and day out, it would be impossible to help the animals! These folks work hard, and nothing would run without them. Here are some items that could really help them through their busy days.

- HE laundry detergent (unscented) or powdered laundry detergent (unscented)
