Barras Young male Corgi mix
Barras, a tri-colored Corgi mix, weighs 24 pounds. The lovable one-year-old is an exuberant guy and enjoys playing. Barras would be a great match for a home with a bigger dog who would be delighted to have a “little brother” jump and play all around him. And he’ll be delighted to romp in his forever home soon.

J. Peterman adult male Chihuahua (Pure)
J. Peterman is a lucky guy. For six months, he and three other dogs survived in a house after their owner died, being fed by the neighbors

company of people again, as he was loved and cared for by his late owner. JP has a unique, eye-catching grey brindle coat. He is a friendly boy

Georgie Porgie adult male Beagle (Pure)
Look at those adorable hound dog eyes! Georgie Porgie is a tri-color purebred Beagle who weighs 23 pounds. His age
has been estimated at 5 years old, but his foster mom swears he’s much younger! Georgie Porgie may be a little too
shy to kiss the girls and make them cry; he is more the running away type. But once he trusts you, Georgie is extremely
affectionate and will give you great doggie hugs. He loves to go for walks and car rides. He loves the company of all
other dogs and is full of joy when he’s running and playing with his four-legged buddies. Georgie needs an experienced
family who will give him the time he needs to work through his shyness. No small children for Georgie Porgie, please.

Rita Hayworth
adult female Beagle (Collie)
Rita Hayworth is an adorable Beagle/Collie mix that came to SDR from a local animal control. She has a
beautiful tri-color coat. Rita is 2 years old and weighs 23lbs. She is a sweet girl that is very loyal
and affectionate to her special people. Rita can get a little shy in "social situations" so she'll need
a patient home to help her when its time to go out on the town. At home, however, she is a fun, happy,
dog. She loves to play with toys and chew on nylabones. And most of all, Rita loves to romp in the fenced-in
yard and then snuggle with her foster parents for a nice, restful nap. She'd make
a great jogging partner! No small children for Rita Hayworth but she would be good with older children
and would love a doggie pal.

Shenango adult female Beagle (Pure)
Shenango is a purebred beagle. She has a brown and white coat and is about 10 years old. Shenango weighs 30lbs.
She is a very shy girl that will need a lot of time and patience to help her come out of her shell. She is doing
well in her foster home where she's finally learning that her foster mom is her friend! She will ask for ear scratches
and loves to chase squirrels. No small children for Shenango.
SmallDog Rescue considers Shenango a permanent foster. Nae Nae, as her foster mom calls her, has adapted well to her
foster home. It has taken two years, and she is still very very shy. We believe that Nae Nae would be traumatized by
trying to adjust to another new home. SmallDog Rescue is committed to paying for her medical care for as long as she is
with us.
